Photonics21 is an organisation which represents the interest of the European photonics industry and research institutes in the field of photonics in Europe. Photonics21 is not a legal entity.

Who are the members?

The European Technology Platform Photonics21 has been launched to better align European research and innovation priorities with industry's needs. Thus, in particular, photonics-related companies and research institutions are invited to join Photonics21 and to implement the European photonics strategy. However, everyone involved in photonics research and development can become a Photonics21 member.

Representatives of public bodies and governmental organisations who are involved in photonics research and innovation are invited to join and participate in the Photonics21 Mirror Group.
