Survey on industrial internships

The Photonics21 survey on the experience of companies and institutes with students in the context of internships has been closed now. The results are currently in the process of analysis.

Industrial internships offers

Photonics21 wants to raise the awareness of students for photonics and to ensure the availability of a highly trained work force. Therefore, Photonics21 searches to increase the number of internships for 3rd and 4th level education. In order to advance and to become successful in this sector, it is important to bring industry and universities closer together so that they are able to meet each other’s needs more easily.

To this extent, Photonics21 will establish a database of companies which offer internships for students.
We cordially invite you to fill in the questionnaire when you offer internships for any level (bachelor, master, PhD) during a photonics related degree programme in your company or institute.

After a number of internships have been finalised, Photonics21 will organise a workshop with all players (students, representatives of companies and representatives of institutes and universities) in order to collect experiences and establish curricula.
